mrgrotey Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Hi guys, not posted here for ages! I have an annoying problem with AutoCAD 2010 LT. As we all know, when you select multiple objects that are on different layers the layers dropdown goes blank to let you know more than one layer is selected, well on certain drawings this doesnt happen for me and the drop down menu wont let me change the layer. It has basically no use apart from changing the current layer, it stays displaying the current layer regardless of what is selected. The strange thing is that when I change back to the toolbars layout it starts working as it should, change back to ribbon and it doesnt work again. Is there a reason for this? Even stranger is that it only doesnt work on certain drawings and I cant seem to find what the problem is. I don't want to keep to the toolbar layout even though I am more used to that, all software is taking the jump to ribbons so I want to keep up with the trend. Quote
ReMark Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Is your version of 2010 LT current with all updates? When did the problem first occur? Is it confined to just a single drawing or any drawing you're working in? What steps have you taken so far to solve the problem? Quote
Dazacad Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I've run into this problem a couple of times. If you open the layer manager and select the filters and change from all to all used and then back again it refreshes itself and will work fine again. Cheers. Quote
