Dimensions slow up in AC2010

This is a recent happening. Any time I select a dimension for any reason, the properties pane takes several seconds to fully display. If I need to scroll down the pane takes seconds again to display. If I then alter a property, it takes a few seconds to change on screen. Any ideas? Not a major issue, but annoying to wait.

Bump. Any one experiencing this? Seem to have recently got worse. If I select any dimension, my cursor locks for about 5 seconds before I can move/do anything. Seems to send the machine into a display slow down. If the properties docker is open it takes those 5 seconds to refresh and display all the properties. Same delay if I want to scroll down within properties. I'm suspecting this is a video driver related. nVidia Geforce Go 285GTX

Do you have any pdf's imported in? I have realised that any time there is a pdf imported in to the drawing it created an extremely painful lag in the program.

Nope. Quite right though. I find PDFs quite problematic so I avoid them.

Is Update 1 for 2010 installed?

 

Wait a sec. You mention 2010 but your profile says 2008. Which one are we talking about here?

We moved to 2010. Don't know about the update. Will check.
