Noun-verb selection and QAFLAGS system variable

I noticed today on one AutoCAD workstation that the noun-verb selection features (allow selection before command is issued) was disabled; for sure the first one to check was PICKADD system variable. No luck, it was correctly set to 1. I found later that the trouble-maker was QAFLAGS system variable that was set to 1. After setting it back to 0 all was returning to normal.

Maybe this will be helpful to someone.
