jwkilgore Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I'm sure this is simply a system setting, but I can't find it anywhere. How do I get model space objects to draw over paper space objects? I've got a grid drawn in paper space with a viewport over it. I want the Mtext drawn in model space (background mask ON) to be visible over the grid. Is this possible? Thanks, Jason Quote
Dana W Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Not sure if it is all of it, but there is a checkbox on your page setup MODIFY dialog for PLOT PAPERSPACE LAST. Make sure that is unchecked. Quote
blatz.boy Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Why not scale your grid and cut/paste it into model space? Then, adjust the draw order accordingly. What is the purpose of your grid? Quote
jwkilgore Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 Dana W's solution partially worked. At least the solid text was printed on top of the shaded lines, but still not perfect. I wound up just coping the text into paperspace and scaling. blatz: It's the profile of a road, and the grid is part of the title block. The road is steep, and the vertical scale is at 1:4 (vs. 1:40 for the horizontal scale), so I had to break up the profile over several viewports. Quote
