deo06 Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 This is an interesting problem in 2011. Hopefully some folks here are using it: A coworker has labeled a drawin using mulitleaders. When he was in paperspace, he activated a viewport and edited the text associated with some multileaders through the viewport. Later, when he returned to model space and went to reposition the leader text, he realized that when he edited the text earlier, it had also created a new mtext box directly on top of the leader text. The mtext box is the exact size/scale/contents as the leader text beneath it. this is not exactly a huge problem but gets very irritating when you need to edit or move callouts later on. You think you've made the change, and then you see that it's only changed the mtext on top of your leader. My thought is that there is some function his program has turned on that creates a duplicate text box when he edits his tags. Has anyone ever heard of this? Quote
alanjt Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 How odd. I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the SELECTIONANNODISPLAY variable. Quote
rkent Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 This duplication can happen if someone uses grips, copy, to add a leader from the text, only problem is, autocad is creating a copy of the whole mleader and not just the leader line. Quote
deo06 Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 I haven't found a solution yet. CAD has changed its help format in 2011 and it's not as "helpful" as it seems to have been recently. If I find an answer I'll post! Quote
