jonny_rotten Posted June 30, 2010 Share Posted June 30, 2010 Hi there, Does anyone know if its possible to add a dimension in an assembly and animate this in Inventor studio? I know I can create a sketch in the assembly and add a dimension there but when I go to render the animation, it disappears. I have 2 moving parts I want to add a dimension between them and show that this dimension increases over time, as they move in the animation. Any help is appreciated. MarkFlayler Posted June 30, 2010 Share Posted June 30, 2010 Have you tried to just use a Drive Constraint and show the update happening? When you use Render in Studio you will not get sketch visibility. Perhaps if Drive Constraint doesn't work for you, you can try a Preview:No Render option in Studio.
