Line style and size

I am trying to change the line style in a layer but when i finish changing it in the layer properties manager, it does not change on the model screen. i went to the layout screen to see if i can adjust it there, but the same thing happens. what should i do to change the line style. thank you

Just left click and highlite the line/lines you want to change, then select the line type you want and you done.

Do you see the layer property is now showing the correct linetype? If yes, then you may need to control the linetype scale.
