How to creat a 2D drawing from a 3D drawing

I downloaded this and had no problem viewing it or Orbiting it, I use a steel drafting addon package called Prosteel and produce 3D models very similar to this, which can converted to a pure AutoCAD .dwg, all of the intelligent details are removed and no requirements for an Object Enabler to view on a system without the relevent software installed.

So I'm guessing it was created using something like Prosteel or StruCAD, maybe even AutoCAD Structural??
