Patrick Hughes
It sounds to me as though your UCS is not set for that view. Make sure your UCS icon is ON. Then when you switch to the troublesome viewport type UCS then VIEW Remember to do that again when you switch back.
run2kdjhm
where is the ucs icon?
Patrick Hughes
When you type UCSICON ON it will appear in the lower left coner of the viewport (if set to the option of Noorigin) After setting it to UCS VIEW you will see the x-axis extending to the right and the Y-axis extending up. I would recommend always keeping the icon on.
