stuie444 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Is it possible to adjust Auto-snap sensitivity within Autocad? I have searched system variables, etc. but am coming up blank other than the usual magnet on/off and so forth. I am wanting to dumb down my auto-snaps so that my cursor does not snap to an endpoint or object for example until my cursor gets closer to the line. I know that in inventor there is an option called "Locate Tolerance" which sets the distance (in pixels) from which clicking will select or snap to an object. If Autocad had a hidden variable based on screen pixels that would be amazing...any ideas? I am running Autocad 2010 with Carlson Civil Suite. Quote
stuie444 Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Scratch that. Turns out a fellow worker changed my aperture size to much larger (to suit him) several weeks ago when I was out of town. I reverted it back to almost nothing which accomplishes what i was wanting to do. Sorry for the false thread...man I hate whenever people change my settings. Quote
