adding text after a dimension

I'm new to autocad 2009 when in a drawing after I dimension something I cant get the text after the dimension such as r2.00 typ I can only get typ before the dimension please help :oops:

You can also type "ed" and then select your dim and edit it there and if you want the text under the dim use this..

(orig dim)\X_your text

(_ = a space)

set the fits of your dim...related to your limits

 

HassanCAD: Your answer does not apply to this situation.

 

Another option is to add the text \XTYP after the brackets . This will result in the letters TYP appearing below the dimension. It comes in handy when space is at a premium.
