Tiger
Why do I get the feeling that you are doing your homework? If you have Autocad, open it up and draw a Surface and draw a Solid - what do you see?
HassanCAD®
want to in details... yap a homework you can say ..
Tiger
Yeah I figured as much after your last post. We are not in a habit of doing peoples homework here, if you are stuck on something and need help, sure, there are lots of people willing to help here. But for you to hand in an assignment that was in fact answered not answered by you at all, that is not right. If you start with what you know, what You find is the differences between Surfaces and Solids - perhaps someone will fill in if you are missing something. Tharwat
im sure this is the best autocad forum.. dont wanna get dispointed!! YES agree with you, but your question is very very simple , so if you draw them as the Tiger Have said before you'll find out that by your self........ try it. ReMark
Surface: the extended two-dimensional outer boundary of a three-dimensional object. To find the definition of a Solid, google the following: define: solid
JD Mather
A surface is infintely thin while a solid has volume. There is a more complete illustration and description in one of the AU papers in my signature.
