Stinsoneer
Hi all. I know nothing of AutoCAD and haven't even opened the celophane on my "new" AutoCAD 14 CD's yet. Question, since it was released in 1997 for NT and MS 95, will it, or how do you make it work/install on an XT machine? Be gentle I am a newbe and shy and sensitive..... !!! lpseifert
I'd try and install it, if you have problems running the program, try using Windows' Compatibility Wizard (you do mean XP , or are you trying to install on a very old computer?) Stinsoneer
Lordy I don't even know what I have. XP of course! Some autocad'r I'm going to make. Off to a bad start already. I've never used that compatibility function, so it will be an adventure IF I go thru with this. Thanks for reply & advice!
robertf
right click on the setup.exe program and choose compatability mode. I had to do this on 2000 to get the install to work, but once thats complete it didn't require any other changes. Good luck.
ReMark
Find and install Win95 along with XP and set your computer up as dual boot. Then load R14 under Win95.
