ko31505 Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I am going through the motions to learn the program and have hit a snag. I keep trying to impliment a multi line bus on my drawing but every time it keeps teeing off so I have twice as many wires whenever I change directions of the bus. Is there a way to turn this off? it is driving me nuts. Quote
ReMark Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Can you post an image so we can see the nature of the problem? Where are you starting you bus wires from? A component? Another bus? Empty space (vertical or horizontal)? Quote
ko31505 Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 As you can see I get two outputs for every input (I'm starting at the component) Thanks Bill Quote
ReMark Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I find that unless I enter C at the command prompt to continue the AEMULTIBUS command (and F to flip wires at right angles) I can only change direction once. Is that how you do it (change direction more than once)? You did change the number of wires you want to use in the Multiple Wire Bus dialog box right? Quote
ko31505 Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 is this the cause? "Window select starting wire connection points to (T=wiretype)(Continue/Flip)c" That is what appears in the command box. It still does the tee-ing with "C" or "F" Quote
ReMark Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 What are you picking for connection points? And how many wires did you want in your multi-wire bus anyway? Quote
ko31505 Posted August 4, 2010 Author Posted August 4, 2010 I am picking terminals 712 - 718 on the right and using the component selection Quote
ReMark Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Maybe you should be using the AEWIRE command (Insert Wire) rather than the Multiple Bus Wire command. Quote
