damob23 Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 hows it going guys, any body ever get a problem in max, when they try exporting their file back to a dwg they get an error message saying cannot export layer to many faces, check the pic with the error message, Im using cat to insert windows and doors only, so I keep the windows is small broken down layers to avoid this export problem but still get it for surfaces and other things? any ideas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cad64 Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 You have more than 32,767 faces in one window frame?!?!? I think you better go back and check your geometry. There is something wrong there. Also, are you using "Export" or "Export Selected"? You might want to Export each object individually using "Export Selected".
