camel_racer Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Hi guys, our team needs to compile some render frames together into an annimation. We have done all the renders now we just need a good program to compile them. Any suggestions? we have tried to use the ram player inside of max but it just keeps crashing. Quote
Cad64 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 There are lots of programs that can do this. It all depends on how much you want to spend. Programs like Autodesk Combustion, Adobe Premiere, etc. are high end, industry standard video editing programs. But there are also free programs out there too, like Virtualdub. Or, if you have Photoshop Extended, CS3 or higher, there is an Export option that will allow you to render to video. I've never tried it, so I don't know how it works, but I'm sure there are tutorials out there. Quote
camel_racer Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 Hmm.. interesting.. will give it a try... with virtual dub can you recomend any encoders? Quote
Cad64 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Sorry, I don't do much animation, so no need for video editing software. I can point you toward the programs, but then it's up to you to figure out how to make them work. Quote
camel_racer Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 no worries... that is more than enough to go off.. thanks! Quote
