TriO
Hi, I'm written some code that performs a coordinate shift on Text and Mtext values in an AutoCAD drawing... this works fine but my problem arises when Mtext has more than one line (a CR) I need to know how to search for the CR with the InStr function so that i can proceed to and calculate each line of text individually vbCrPos = InStr(1, WholeString, vbCr, vbTextCompare) i've tried vbCr, vbCrlf, chr(10), chr(13).... and nothing seems to work Does anyone know the correct way to extract to position of a Carriage Return from an Acad string Any help is greatly appreciated... Cheers TriO
borgunit
I believe you should be looking for "\P" in a string. Do a LIST on the mtext and you should see the coding for it.
