hotrodz0321
unfortunately I have had the task of messing with a drawing done by a former employee and Im trying to figure things out...its a mess... Problem: I have several objects that were grouped together. It looks as if those grouped objects were then copied to several different locations in the drawing. The original will explode using GROUP > EXPLODE but the others dont. I cant even EXPLODE them. Question: How do you explode these things? Dipali
they may be pasted as block or xrefed. block will explode with normal explode command. xref will required 'bind' before exploding.

It is neither a block or xref. The original is 827 objects grouped together. The others are copies of that. The original explodes using the GROUP command. The others wont...and they dont explode using the EXPLODE command.
eldon
When groups are copied, they become un-named. So in the group dialogue box you have to check the "Include Unnamed" box. Then from the dialogue box, you can pick each one and explode it.
