Forcing Dimension arrow heads inside dim lines for smaller dimensions

I have no idea what your dimstyle is but if the text is not on the dim line, you can have smaller dimesnions with the arrowheads inside but there is a limit to that. There may be a way to make that limit smaller. If I can find it I will post back.

i will try that when i'm in work tomorrow, will have to turn my right click menu on!!!!

i remember a version or 2 back being able to set this in the dim styles!

hi guys, i am sure i saw this as an option recently, where you could click on a dimension and force the arrows either inside or outside the dimension lines.

however i cant find it now.

 

any thoughts?

If you have your dynamic GRIP menus enabled,

in OPTIONS > Selection tab.   Do it like this...
