im currently creating a block library on the tool pallet, n was just wondering if say i had a basic block (maybe a circle with a cross in it) could i using dynamic blocks insert it onto an exsiting line causing the line to break or trim to the extents of the circle, our old block library done this using lisp.

im currently using 2007

thanx.

not really. A dynamic block is only dynamic in appearance, it doesn't contain reactions. It may be possible to include a wipe out in your block to create the impression of a break - I don't know. Other than that I think you will have to resort to programming.
