ReMark Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Elevations. OK. What is the exact nature of the assignment? Make a site plan and locate the spot elevations in the correct positions? That would require angle and distance from a known survey position. How is that position being established? What point did the surveyor use to establish the 0 deg 00 min 00 sec sight line? Are angles turned to the right only? Are deflection angles used? After plotting the points representing the elevations are you supposed to come up with the contours? If so, what contour interval will be used? Yep, a few more questions need to be answered. Where in Canada are you located? Quote

ReMark Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 OK. Then I guess we'll all just hold off on giving any more advice and await the outcome. I'd be interested in seeing the end result. Good luck. Quote
