we make dwfs for others to view our drawings that dont have autocad. In cad we can easily set up a plot stamp. can you set up a plot stamp when opening and plotting a drawing from the vdwf viewer?

this is from the help file

To hide or show the Markups palette

  • Choose View ac.menuaro.gif Navigator Palettes ac.menuaro.gif Markups.
  • Or, right-click any palette title bar and choose Markups.

Markup is created in Design Review and can be viewed in DWF Viewer. Markup can be viewed and modified in AutoCAD 2005 or later. There are six types of markup:

  • Callouts: Point to and comment on a specific detail on a sheet, have a leader line, and can have a revision cloud.
  • Text blocks: Can stand alone with or without a border. Have no leader line or revision cloud.
  • Shapes: Line, rectangle/square, ellipse/circle, polyline/polygon, freehand.
  • Dimensions: Label drawings with measurements in feet and inches or metric.
  • Stamps: Display the status of the entire sheet and appear to be stamped onto the sheet. Stamps include "Approved," "Rejected," "Not for Construction," "Not to Scale," and so on.
  • Custom symbols: Created by the CAD author. The DWF file author can then import them as a catalog and use them as markup.
