annie26789
I haven't used viewport for months and now when I'm back. Autocad 2010 is a maze. Does anyone know how to change the viewport scale in Autocad 2010? as I remember, back in the earlier versions of Autocad there is a viewport toolbar where you can just click to choose the scale from drop down menu. :ouch: Any help would be deeply appreciate
ReMark
The Viewports toolbar is still available. I know because that's the way I change my viewport scale. I even have it displayed in my custom workspace for immediate access. Your other option is to click inside the viewport to make it active then type Zoom > S (for Scale) and then assign a nXP scale factor. Finding your toolbars: At the far right end of the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) there is an arrow. Click on it. Click on the option Show Menu Bar. Now click on Tools > Toolbars > AutoCAD and make your selection.
nestly
In addition to what ReMark said, by default the Scale List is always displayed in the Status bar when a viewport is active. Of course, in order to change the scale of a viewport, it must also be unlocked. Video: http://screencast.com/t/mnt7zlGDth3
