Linking a digital camera to a dwg?

Not sure if I'm in the right place...

 

I have spent alot of time importing jpg photos onto a dwg and wondering if the digital image can be imported and dropped directly onto the drawing as soon as it's taken?

 

Hope this makes sense, any questions or solutions please let me know.

Hi Plod

I do a lot of work of this kind. But what i do is copy the pic from the cam on my hard disk & then insert it into Autocad.

I dont think its so much time consuming & probably this is the only way.
