NKG Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Hi, I have an attribute with 3 values. Is there a way to link it to an excel sheet (or even just to print them) without using any add-on tool? Thanks! Quote
JBullseye74 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 2006 - use 'Attribute Extraction' think it changed to 'Data Extraction' for 2008 so its probably the same for 2009 unless anyone can say any different. In Tools pull down menu Quote
ReMark Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Attributes can be extracted to a table in AutoCAD and linked to Excel. The links can go in either direction, meaning you can edit the spreadsheet and have AutoCAD update itself or make the edits in AutoCAD and have it write them back to Excel. Sweet or what? A spreadsheet can be linked to an AutoCAD drawing via the Table Creation dialog box. The stronger two-way link became available in 2008. Quote
fuccaro Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Nice! Now I can see how limited I am with AutoCAD 2006 Quote
