Has anyone used mac 2011 autocad and got the STARTUP and SELECTIONCYCLING commands to function correctly?

 

I set startup to "1" but no dialog appears on startup...?

 

I also set selectioncycling to 1 and no dialog pops up when i click overlapping lines...?
