qball Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I can't remember how to set it so when you open Autocad it comes up with a dialog box to choose a file, or a template, etc. Right now it defaults and opens my QNew file template. Quote
Grant Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 goto options, files tab, template settings and under default template file name for qnew - delete whats in there. Hope this helps Quote
alanjt Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 STARTUP perhaps... yes, Startup (duh). thank you. Ugh, he meant the system variable STARTUP. Type SYSVDLG and look up STARTUP. Quote
qball Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 I understood what mdbdesign meant Alan... I didn't mean to sound (read) sarcastic. Just acknowledging that I should have figured that out because the answer was in the question. This just reinforces my Wishlist of Sarcastic fontstyles.... underline, italics, bold, "sarcastic". We're in a world where we're probably writing more than talking now and sarcasm can be lost (or mis-interpreted). Quote
