Rockford
ADT 2006 How do you import a text file, such as a word, excell or notepad document so that it will plot along with your drawing objects? Rockford
hay123
I usually copy & paste, depending on what I want to do with data in Cad. If you choose insert OLE object (from insert drop down menu) it will allow you to choose particular format, then by double clicking on it go back to original doc for editing. Rockford
hay Thank You for your reply. So then you would be able to plot the imported doc in its form with your drawings etc.? Rockford
fuccaro
Try to save the document in RTF (rich text format) and import it in an Mtext in AutoCAD. Formatting will be preserved.
