Tool Palette Glitch?

Hi potential helpers,

 

I've been setting up some new CAD standards and have come across the following strange little problem:

 

Typically, when you choose a hatch from a tool palette a small preview 'swatch' is displayed around the cross hair until you pick point.

However, after I insert a block that has it's auxiliary scale set to dimscale from the tool palette, choosing a hatch from the tool palette then shows a much larger preview 'swatch' as if it has been scaled by the previous block's auxiliary scale (x50 if I am in a typical 1:50 drawing model with LTScale and DimScale set to 50).

 

Although the hatch continues to work fine, it's annoying that the preview swatch is so big, it fills the screen which is a real pain.

 

Anyone got any ideas?
