PREID Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Hey Everyone! I was wondering if anyone new of a way that you could xclip in 3d? I rotated an elevation 90 degrees and i want to xclip it but it does not allow me to do so it only will allow a 2d plan view xclip? Is there anyway to do this? Thanks Patrick Quote
mdbdesign Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Patrick, xclip is only for xreferences, underlays not for 3d dwg.(hope I am right?) What are you planing to achieve? Quote
PREID Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 Hey sorry i did not explain that better. Basically i do not understand clip depth within the xclip command. I am trying to clip an xref that i rotated up to use to help me create a 3d model. But the problem is xclip will only work for 2d xrefs. i hope that explains it a bit better. So i am wondering if there is a way to clip xrefs along your z axis i guess. Quote
mdbdesign Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Just try with one of my 3d dwg as a reference and is clipping in every possible view. I am not very familiar with the subject. Maybe somebody else got some better knowledge and will explain it. Quote
