I assume your question is,

I have AutoCAD Architecture 2010 and was wondering if I can run as vanilla AutoCAD 3D Workspace without running the full AutoCAD Architecture vertical application?

My answer to the interpreted question would be, yes.

Go to Start>Programs>Autodesk>AutoCAD Architecture>Run as AutoCAD.

Then in lower right corner of screen click on the icon that looks sort of like a gear and select 3D Workspace.

If you would like to simplify this start up process for vanilla AutoCAD you can

go to Start>Programs>Autodesk>AutoCAD Architecture>Run as AutoCAD and right click and drag an AutoCAD start icon to copy to the desktop.

Wander on back here if this doesn't answer your question.

I went and did all the steps but after >AutoCAD Architecture> there was no Run as AutoCAD here is a screen shot of my start menu:start menu.jpg

I don't have AutoCAD Architecture, but here is a screen shot of the Properties for my AutoCAD Mechanical to run as vanilla AutoCAD.

It should be something very similar for AA.

Replace the Start In with path shown (with appropriate replacement for \ACADM 2011\ ) and start program and check Options set to vanilla Profile.

When the program installs, it asks you if you want the shortcut to run just autocad (well, my aa 2007 did, can't speak for anything newer). if you (or whoever installed it) didn't click yes, then it didn't put the shortcut on there for you. JD's suggestion above should fix it for you.
