Marc5 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Please see attached Room Schedule. Sch. "A" is how the program dropes it in. Sch. "B" was manually created and is what I need the sch to look like. I created spaces with Space Generate, I created room tags with Room Tag, inserted the room name and number under, interior finishes under extended data and created the Room Finish Sch with Room Schedule. I do not understand why the Room Schedule is not populating correctly. Please advise. Thanks, ROOM FIN SCH.dwg Quote
JPlanera Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Is Sch. A your datalink???? If so, check the excell file and format it to look like Sc. B Quote
Marc5 Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 No. The data link is a list of notes. The schedule was generated from the Room Schedule in the Ribbon. I was hoping the sch. would populate auto. Quote
Marc5 Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 The data link is working just fine after I did what you said. Quote
JPlanera Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 This room schedule chart... Is it something acad architecture generates? Or did you make this manually using TABLE? Quote
Marc5 Posted January 8, 2011 Author Posted January 8, 2011 sch "A" ACAD generated thru Room Sch on the Ribbon sch "B" was done manually to show what I need the schedule to do or look like. Quote
irneb Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I think ACA's scheduling uses Vanilla CAD's Data Extraction, which has a slight problem: If the tag-block is set to be Uniform Scale then mirrored blocks will get ignored (since either their Y or X scale factors would be negative - i.e. not uniformly scaled). IMO this is a bit silly really ... but there you go Quote
