Im trying to render with a daylight mr Sky mr Sun and mental ray setting and when i change the preset in the render window my buildings lose their textures... The render presets have nothing to do with your textures, so I don't understand what's going on. I have moved your question to its own thread. hazardman Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 there is a rendering setting, when set to metal ray, to use one material for the entire scene...under the render setup find the processing tab > translator options there is a material override...make sure that this is not ticked (as it may be part of that preset?)... Cad64 Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 That is a possibility. If he's using the "mental.ray.hidden.line.contours" preset, the material override is enabled.
