moneenfan Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hey guys, Im new to the site and a cad beginner. Im wondering if i can somehow get AutoCad2011 to run on my 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 1GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Is there any way that i can possibly get AutoCad to run?? Quote
ReMark Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) Probably not judging by your system specs. One problem is you do not have enough memory. Can you post the FULL specs of your MacBook? Are you a student? Edited January 14, 2011 by ReMark Quote
f700es Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Do you have the OSX copy of AutoCAD or the PC version? You can use Bootcamp and install a copy of Windows XP or above and boot into this OS and install and run AutoCAD. If you have the OSX version I think you have to have 10.6 Leopard or above and maybe 2 gb of ram to run the OSX version. Quote
kencaz Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 I would say if your going to spend $3000.00+ on a piece of software you should consider including the hardware to run it properly as well. Get a PC..! KC Quote
