Surveying: How to dimension a distance and show the angle

Recommended Posts

I have a drawing of a factory, with different equipment foundations laid out.

I'm trying to do a type of surveying, get a distance and angle measurement from a specific set point in the drawing.

So far i've only been able to use the Aligned Dimension function to show the distance between the set point and edge of a foundation (for example.)

How can I show the angle as well on the same dimension line.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated! :)

On all the construction drawings that I have seen, a foundation is dimensioned from two grid lines, i.e. with two perpendicular dimensions.

I have never seen it dimensioned with an angle (and I don't think you would like Surveyor angles if you have never used them before)
