jaypro
Hello, Please help me understand the synchronization in Autocad MEP. I am now in a process of learning the said software and confused on how we synchronize project. Sync in Revit MEP is easy and very user friendly. Is it the same with the Revit MEP wherein the central file(usually in the server) can be opened by others at same time without the 'read only' warning as seen in Autocad MEP? tzframpton
That is a major advantage that Revit based software has over AutoCAD. It is impossible for more than one user to access a single DWG file at a time. There are ways around it, however. You could explain exactly what you're trying to accomplish and maybe I can help with an approach that works for you and your team of designers.
