ScottKahanovi Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Hi I am using AutoCAD 2011, I am using a file with several xrefs and for some reason the plan has truned into 3D x, y, z axis, making it imposible for me to work on the file as it will not pan or zoom without freezing up. How do I change it back to the x, y axis? Your help would be greatly appreciated, regards, Scott Quote
ScottKahanovi Posted January 20, 2011 Author Posted January 20, 2011 Hi i typed in view and then a dialogue box popped up and there was no sign of "top" anything else you could offer? Quote
ScottKahanovi Posted January 20, 2011 Author Posted January 20, 2011 I have also went to the tabs, went to view and selected top, then it tells me it is going to regen and it freezes up Quote
Tiger Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Have you tired detaching or unloading the x-refs and then changing the View? Quote
ScottKahanovi Posted January 20, 2011 Author Posted January 20, 2011 Yes I will try it, when I select "Top" view should it automatically go into an X, Y axis, because when I selcect it now it goes into an X Y axis but it still remains in the X Y Z format in the colours blue, green and red , i want it bback in the basic thin white line display, one pointing to x and another pointing to Y, the classic postion and format! ReMark Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Have you tried changing your visual style to 2Dwireframe? Quote
