cbuckner Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 When I export into and .shp file in AutoCAD Map 3d 2010, I am able to add the data to my ArcMap but everything does not show up. Actually nothing shows up even if I change the colors and whatnot. Does anyone have any experience with exporting this type of file and bringing it in? If so could you please help? Quote
rkmcswain Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Are you saying that you have geometry in AutoCAD Map and you are exporting it to a SHP file and then opening this SHP file in ArcMap? Quote

I think what I need to figure out is how to change the extent in Autocad to match the extent of the shp files in Arcmap. I have a negative extent for the file I am trying to export and the files that are already in arcmap are positive. Quote
