stevsmith Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 How do I change the speed of the "zoom in" and "zoom out" commands in autoCAD 2008. I would like it to be faster. Quote
Dipali Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 straight from help file ZOOMFACTOR ConceptProcedureQuick Reference Type:IntegerSaved in:RegistryInitial value:60 Controls how much the magnification changes when the mouse wheel moves forward or backward. Accepts an integer between 3 and 100 as a valid value. The higher the number, the more the change Quote
stevsmith Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Hello guys, That only changes the zoom speed on the mouse wheel. I am looking to change the speeds whin I click on the zoom in and out Icons. Sorry if I may have been slightly blunt with the question. Quote
lpseifert Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Try setting Vtduration to a lower number, or turn view transition off with Vtenable=0 Quote
JBullseye74 Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 don't use anything else other than the wheel to zoom. Do you mean your VIEW TRANSITIONS? if so type VTOPTIONS and increase the speed. I have mine switched OFF! Quote
stevsmith Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Try setting Vtduration to a lower number, or turn view transition off with Vtenable=0 Magic. That works a treat. Thanks everybody. Quote
