dshowalt
Is there a "correct" way to use the SLICE command to output multiple section views to individual sheets? I want to slice an object into multiple sections and have each section view on a seperate sheet.
JD Mather
I think you will have to drag and drop after creation.
dshowalt
I'll try that. But the way I got it to work was to create wordplanes where I wanted to slice the moodel and created 3d sketches using the intersection of the plane and the solid and created a part out of each sketch. worked OK just took alot of time
BillB
I'm thinking that it would be easier to use the "Section View" that on the Drawing Views Panel in the .idw, but maybe I'm not understanding the problem though. BillB
dshowalt
Section view would be easier. But I need to make several section views from the same side view equally spaced and a set distance appart like the slice command allowes with the sketch option. I haven't found a way to create section views at fixed distances from each other?
