crash66
Could someone please provide some advice on how to successfully convert from a 3D *.dwg to a solidworks file? I have tried several different export/import options and nothing seems to work. When I export the file, then open in solidworks file, certain features are missing or incomplete. What steps do I need to perform in Autocad to facilitate the export? Thanks!
kencaz
You should be able to export your AutoCAD solids to .SAT and then import into SW. I do this in Inventor all the time. You object is not Parametric however... KC
crash66
That works well, now that I have exploded all of the blocks and then exploded the sub-blocks. The original issue was that the blocks were not importing correctly. Thanks for the help.
