samifox Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 is there a way to set a skin for the interface in LT? Thanks Shay Quote
ReMark Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 The choices are so limited you might as well say they are non-existent. Don't waste your time. Quote
Glen1980 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 There is the option of a dark colour scheme and light colour scheme on options->Display (top left of the dialogue box.) Other than that you can customise the colours of various elements but I don't believe you can add skins to the GUI unless there is some sort of proprietary software out there. Quote
ReMark Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Dark and Light. Wow! So many choices. In the 2012 version I think AutoDesk added a new one: Medium. LOL Quote
Glen1980 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 They don't want us LT paupers getting above our stations Quote
f700es Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Well you can always skin your OS GUI. Depending on your OS and version of LT. With XP and Vista your can run the UXpatcher and use any of the thousands of MS Visual Styles out there to change the way your OS looks and to some extents acts. http://uxstyle.com/ After running this you can then download and use the visual styles that you can see over at deviantART.com http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/skins/vistautil/visstyles/?order=9 or other Visual Style web sites I run these myself as I like to have a little style with my PCs.
