Lofting Help

Hello all,

I'm currently modelling a curved turbine blade in Autodesk Invetor 2010 (see attached for .dwf file), and have run into a slight issue, which has resulted in alot of head scratching. I'm struggling to figure out how to terminate the tapered section of the blade so that it is radiused to match the radius along the leading edge of the blade. The model is constructed using two lofts using two 3D helixes as gude rails. I can't simply revolve the end profile as it would not match the pitch of the blade.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Chris

Hello all,

You are in the AutoCAD forum - probably meant to be over here http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?32-Autodesk-Inventor

And when you find your way to the correct forum you might attach your ipt file rather than a picture.

Find the red End of Part marker at the bottom of your feature tree.

Drag the red EOP to the top of the browser hiding all features.

Save the file with the EOP in a rolled up state.

Right click on the filename and select Send to Compressed (zipped) folder.

Attach the resulting *.zip file here.
