Adding Density to Material Autocad 2009?

Recommended Posts

I'm doing a bit of 3D modelling, and adding material textures to some objects... Is it possible to add a density, so that when I do the 'massprop' command, it tells me the correct mass?

Cheers.

I think you will need a modern CAD program like Autodesk Inventor for that.

You'll have to pull out your calculator and multiply times the volume.

OK, thanks.. Yeah that would be the second option so it looks like I'm doing that! Cheers.

I may be wrong but I thought I ran across a lisp program that handles the math. I'd have to look around and see if I could find it.
