Path certificate error when opening signed drawings

Hi, I successfuly bought and installed a Class 1 Verisign certificate in Internet Explorer. The problem is when I send a signed drawing out, my recipient see the digital signature dialog box with this (translated from french) error message: “Digital ID error. Error in the certificate path”. This does not happen on the computer used to sign the drawings. Any idea? Thanks.
