hotrodz0321
The new firm I work for plots to DWF, then plots our hard copies from that. Its nice because you can always refer back to that file instead of opening CAD and waiting on it to load... They have been plotting flawlessly for a couple years and now all of the sudden the plotter is having trouble plotting the DWFs...sometimes it'll print a page then hang up....we are going to try to open the DWFs, plot them to PDF, then print it that way. QUESTION: what does your company do for multi-page plots?

BOB'27T
We just use the regular publish and print 1 extra set that we keep in a flat file.
hotrodz0321
We just use the regular publish and print 1 extra set that we keep in a flat file. we like to have an electronic file of each final set...this way we kinda kill two birds with one stone... printing to a single pdf is nice but I havnt found an option through the SSM to publish to a PDF... chelsea1307
have you tried creating a page setup for dwg to pdf or dwf and publishing the drawings with that page setup?
hotrodz0321
have you tried creating a page setup for dwg to pdf or dwf and publishing the drawings with that page setup? we talked about doing that a few days ago but never did. I'll give it a shot and see how that goes.
SuperCAD
We plot a DWF first and then create a PDF and THEN print a hard copy. I'm trying to get everyone in the company who needs to look at drawings to get on board with the Design Review program that Autodesk has. Only a few of us have the full blown Adobe so we're the only ones who can add notes and markups to the PDFs. With DR, anyone can add a markup without messing up our work.
