Autodimension different shapes

Hey CT!

Here's another one for all y'all!

I know this can be done as someone before at work had somethign similar, but doesn't anymore.

There's a way Acad can dimension shapes automatically, not sure if it's LISP or something else, but I know it's possible.

As well, I'm not sure if the shape needs to be a REGION, or POLYLINE, or what.... I guess if anyone is willing to take a crack at this, or already has this code, the answer is with them...

It's for detailing concrete pieces, and would be a HUGE time saver to get this thing,,, The CAD file below explains what needs to be done.

PS: All shapes are drawn as individual lines.... *IF* the code needs to use POLYLINE or REGION, is there a way to convert all objects to those as well without manually doing it for everyone??????

THX and anxiousely waiting replies! :) !!

Do a search here and a couple of the other places such as "the swamp" for auto dimensioning its a broad request so the words appears in a lot of posts but percivere I am sure someone has done this, the only problem I see is the notches would have to be done separately compared to the outer shapes which could be lines plines etc

Also have a go with QDIM after first go hit thumb on space bar its pretty quick way to repeat till something turns up
