CalypsoArt
I read that editing the acad.pgp file you can change the command aliases. I would like C to copy, = to be mirror ci to be circle. I made the necessary changes and I believe the syntax is correct. However nothing has changed. C is still circle and MI mirror. any suggestions? SLW210
How did you edit the acad.pgp? Did you try REINIT or restart AutoCAD?
CalypsoArt
Thanks for the reply. I originally did it in notepad as some net information suggested but that did not work. Since then, I discovered it is editable through Express>Tools>command alias editor. So easy.
ReMark
Acad.pgp can be edited outside of AutoCAD which was the only way to do it up until AutoDesk put the feature on the Ribbon. As SLW210 suggested however one must issue a REINIT command in AutoCAD for the changes to the acad.pgp file to take affect. Most users of newer versions of AutoCAD will, as you did, find it easier to do from within AutoCAD because the feature automatically issues the REINIT command. You probably were not aware of that. A gold star for you anyway for finding the Edit Aliases feature though.
