"nesting" prints on the plotter

We have recently bought a new plotter (HP Designjet T1100) for the drawing office. But we are finding that we are wasting too much paper as we do not know how to "nest" drawings so that we may save paper.

Is there a way to lay-out a series of drawings on screen so that the plotter may be able to plot them out how we see it on screen.

We are currently using AutoCAD 2000LT on our computers.

On my HP 1150 you go into the plotter menu (at the plotter) and select nesting there.
