DODGE
Hi Guys I have just started doing some work for another company and they are using AutoCad Architectural 2011. I have been using AutoCad Plain 2009. I am a bit lost when I opened Architecture and need some help. 1 – How do I display FILE – EDIT – VIEW –INSERT - ETC ETC across the top, the actual words not icons. 2 – How do I display SNAP – GRID – ORTHO – ETC ETC across the bottom again the actual words not the icons. I also noticed that you only have 2 tabs Model and Work space at the bottom. Is there any reason why we don’t have Model Layout 1 and Layout 2 ? I also have my AutoCad set up with all drawing icons on the left page such as Line – offset – ARC - etc etc how do I get the icons set the same way in Architecture. I can’t even remember how I set my AutoCad up as it was a couple of year s back. I also want to use my AutoCad 2009 template in Architecture as well so any help in doing that would be great. Noahma
There are ways to do it, but I cannot for the life of me remember how to do it. A co worker of mine has his setup this way, but I prefer to use the newest ribbon interface. Try right clicking in different areas and one should turn it on. Well I'm glad you say there is a way of doing in Architectural at least. I have tried the right clicking all over the place but just can't get it. It should be really simple and it's driving me crazy. I have just gone from plain AutoCad 2009 to Architectural 2011 and I want to get it as close as poss to what I'm used to. Just haven't got time to try and learn new stuff at the mo. Anyway thanks for your help. ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE Dodge
